About Dunsborough

We think you would be crazy not to make the most of this amazing region whilst given the excuse of having a long weekend away for our wedding! Wineries and breweries, resturaunts and retreats, craft and cafes, bush and beaches... take your pick. Here are some of our favourites (and yes, a lot of them surround food, or drink!):

Caves House

Great for a wander around their beautiful grounds and an afternoon beer in the sun. Once the home of the infamous 'Sunday Sesh', it is now more of a classy yuppies paradise, but we still love it!

Flying Fish Cove

Our favourite south west winery of the moment, we love the Sparkling Shiraz and the Italian Job.

Goanna Gallery

My friend Emma introduced me to this fantastic little café hidden in the bush. I fell in love with poached pears here, which came with some lovely carrot cake! Goanna Gallery, 1 Hayes Rd, Dunsborough 6281 WA Phone: (08) 9759 1477

Caves - Mammoth, Nigili, Jewel, Lake...

Dan and I did the 'tourist thing' one trip down south... Well worth a look! We are so lucky to have such well kept icons as these on our doorstep!

The Goose

THE BEST sticky date pudding I have ever had.

Bootleg Brewery

Somehow we seem to come here on the busiest days of the year, but its always fun with great beer and live music.

The Dunsborough Bakery

The home of our favorite down south breakie - a pepper steak pie and a new addition for 2008...the almond croissant.

The Busselton Jetty

'Measured at 1841 metres, is the longest wooden jetty (pier) in the southern hemisphere'. Dan hopes to dive here when the weather warms up with his (newish) PADI dive ticket.
