 The Engagement
So Dan wont let me write much about this, personally I think he is a little modest about his romantic side... But here is the 'readers digest' version (as my dad would say)... We happenned to be in Margaret River area the weekend before, where Dan bought a bottle of our favourite wine from when we first met. We had a date night planned for the night he proposed but I just assumed it was any other night (Dan LOVES to keep secrets when it comes to date night). Anyway, we went up to Kings Park and went for a short wander, then he started saying all of these beautiful things, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Ofcourse, I was shocked, and said yes immediately! He had chosen out a gorgeous necklace and bracelet set to propose with, so we could pick the ring together - this was a fantastic idea as I wear very little jewellery so it was lovely to have the option to choose together. Following this a limmosine picked us up where we drove around and celebrated for a bit longer in privacy. We then had a lovely dinner at Must Wine Bar, a few cocktails at the Luxe Bar and then went home the new happily engaged couple! The Engagement Party
Its finally organised... and we feel so lucky that our families are able to attend (except for Tayartgfbv ) and are flying in from their respective sides of Australia / the world. We cant wait to see you at the Metro Bar and Bistro on the 2nd August 2008 to celebrate. Invitations for the finer details aren't too far away!
