Janelle and Daniel

December 30, 2022

Our Story
Daniel and Janelle first met at LSU when they were assigned to the same team for a class project. Who says those are always a negative experience? After graduation, they reconnected in Houston and have been together ever since.

More information to be posted later.
Q: Will Janelle be changing her name?
A: Yes, her new full name will be Janelle Marie Whelen Bourgeois
Q: What is a "Louisiana style" wedding?
A: Louisiana receptions are typically not seated dinners, but consist of lots of food lots of beverages, and a highly dynamic and social atmosphere that allows guests to move freely about the reception space. Seating is left open for guests to choose their own seats and tables. The bride and groom have their first dance near the beginning of their reception, opening the dance floor immediately for the guests' enjoyment, and to take full advantage of the entertainment.
